Planned service interruption: Renewal SSL/TLS certificate and software updatesIn the night to Tuesday, November 15, the *.aspsms.com wildcard certificate will be renewed. In addition, various software updates are applied. This leads to a service interruption. Why this?Communication with the ASPSMS system via HTTPS is protected using an SSL/TLS certificate. Each SSL/TLS certificate has a defined expiration date and must be renewed annually. When?The *.aspsms.com wildcard certificate will be renewed at the following date: Date: Tuesday, 15. November 2022 Min. duration of interruption: 1 hour Max. duration of interruption: 2 hours Time: 03:00 - 05:30 CET Current certificate: *.aspsms.com (Sectigo RSA Domain Validation Secure Server CA) New certificate: *.aspsms.com (Sectigo RSA Domain Validation Secure Server CA) Download: wildcard.aspsms.com-public-2022-Base64.txt Certificate and intermediate certificates: 202211-aspsms-cert-pem.zip The new certificate is available at https://ssl.aspsms.com Affected Interfaces
Why is this important for you?Under certain circumstances, a certificate renewal leads to technical problems on your side, i.e. sending SMS via the affected interfaces may no longer work. If you access the ASPSMS system HTTP (without SSL/TLS) or via ActiveX component, you are in no case affected by this change. However, you still have to expect the service interruption, as various software updates are also carried out. If you have installed our existing server certificate locally in your application, you have to perform this step again after the conversion for the new certificate. It is also possible that the existing certificate may not be automatically updated by a caching mechanism on your side. In this case, take the necessary measures. If your certificate store does not have all certificates required for the certificate chain, it may be necessary to import individual CA certificates.
